35 Porcelain Cloud Plates

35 Porcelain Cloud Plates
This is my largest group. They all stack so nicely to each other, if you wanted to have a dramatic sculptural display. Of course individually they are perfect. Anagama fired at Pleasant Hill Pottery in Eugene Oregon, this is the creme-de-la-creme of my large offerings. I’m happy to provide a high-resolution photo by email if you would like better zooming-in capacity.
…yes, they can go through the industrial washer. The painting is embedded in the clay.
specs: the cloud plate is actually a soft pedestal. It has a gently gradated 1/4” concavity in the center to allow a poured sauce to stay in the center, but other than that, it is an elevated surface. It is also quite comfortable for a server to manage.
*at the risk of repeating myself as you go shopping: for the moment, I am keeping groups intact, because I am reaching out to restaurants only with this page of offerings. Please let me know if you are interested in breaking a group and I will make a note and keep you informed. But quite importantly! I love commissions. If you want work in white porcelain, talk to me :) I can’t make these cloud plates in white but I can order them by the hundred plus. (as you might guess, the price drops by volume) All this woodfired work is super-rare and I won’t be making it again in this way, if ever.
